**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Fellow position at the College of Innovation and Technology, University of Michigan – Flint, focuses on LiDAR sensors and sensing systems. The successful candidate will work under Dr. Ahmad Alsharoa to develop and apply LiDAR and other sensor modalities in real-world environments, including smart systems, healthcare monitoring, and activity recognition, with opportunities for collaboration across University of Michigan campuses.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven experience working with LiDAR sensors, point cloud data processing, and sensor integration.
• Strong background in signal processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Computer Science
• Related field

**Experience**
Other:
• Proven experience working with LiDAR sensors, point cloud data processing, and sensor integration.
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
