**Job Description**
The Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position, with an earliest start date of Summer 2026. The Postdoctoral Fellow will collaborate with investigators in the Heart Center to generate analyzable clinical data. The primary objective is to better understand and improve patient and family outcomes for individuals diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. This position is initially for 1 year, with the option to continue for up to 5 years, subject to availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward goals.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Self-direction and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• High computer proficiency, including basic MS Office, MS Access, graphics, and database software
• Basic project management and statistical analysis knowledge
• Expert skills in statistical analysis (e.g., R Studio, SAS) (Preferred)
• Experience in coding (e.g., MATLAB, Python) (Preferred)

**Qualifications**
• Doctoral degree (MD or PhD) received within the past 3 years

**Experience**

• Experience with the use of electronic medical records and clinical data
Other:
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States and remain authorized without the need for future visa sponsorship.
• Experience in Cardiology or Congenital Heart Disease clinical research (Preferred)
