**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Associate position in Dr. Sangita Patel’s lab at the University at Buffalo focuses on the physiology of the corneal endothelium, the cell layer responsible for maintaining corneal transparency. Current projects investigate the extracellular matrix of the corneal endothelium and its responses to cell injury. The associate is expected to independently advance projects from the conceptual stage through experimental design, execution, data interpretation, and presentation of findings.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficient in cell culture techniques

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Relevant science / health science field (PhD or MD)
