**Job Description**
The Cheng Lab in the Department of Medicine, Section of Epidemiology & Population Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate. This position focuses on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in Cancer Genomics and Immunology, involving the development and/or application of computational approaches to understand the mechanisms of cancer development, progression, metastasis, and prognosis. The role requires experience in processing and analyzing next-generation sequencing and single-cell technologies and involves close collaboration with experimental biologists and clinicians. **Skills & Abilities**
• Experience in processing and analyzing data from next-generation sequencing and single-cell technologies (e.g., scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, scTR-seq, and/or spatial transcriptomics)
• Good computer programming skills in R/Matlab/PerlPython
• Knowledge of basic molecular biology, genomics, and epigenetics
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Basic Science (MD or Ph.D. required)
• Health Science (MD or Ph.D. required)
• Related field (MD or Ph.D. required)

• Previous experience in both Bioinformatics/Genomics and Cancer Biology (desirable)
• Experience in the application and development of computational methods/tools or machine learning algorithms (preferred)
