**Job Description**
The Wilson laboratory at the University of Florida’s Center for Research in Perinatal Outcomes is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to a research program focused on maternal-fetal health and developmental programming. The lab investigates how maternal stressors during pregnancy impact placental physiology, fetal development, and long-term health outcomes. This position involves conducting translational studies using animal models, human tissue samples, and cell culture systems within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment that spans basic science, translational research, and clinical studies.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Experience with animal handling and basic laboratory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with reproductive biology or pregnancy research
• Familiarity with pregnancy and placental biology
• Track-record of supervisory responsibilities
• Experience with data analysis software
• Experience working autonomously while maintaining effective team communication in an academic research setting

Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Physiology
• Related field
