**Job Description**
The Westmoreland Lab in the Department of Chemistry at NYU seeks a motivated postdoctoral associate to conduct interdisciplinary research. The role involves studying the conformational dynamics of redox-active proteins and electron transfer in metalloenzymes, with a key focus on correlating structure with kinetics. The successful applicant will be highly driven, possessing an interest in working at the intersection of biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong research experience
• Publications
• Background knowledge in Membrane protein expression and purification
• Background knowledge in Insect cell expression and purification
• Background knowledge in Protein expression and purification from native organisms
• Background knowledge in Biophysics, including spectroscopic methods (stopped flow, EPR, TA)
• Background knowledge in Structure determination (NMR, X-ray crystallography, cryoEM)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Biophysics
• Structural Biology
• Chemical Biology
