**Job Description**
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is seeking a Postdoc to join the Quantum Materials Group within the Materials Research and Technology department. The role is part of the FNR PEARL project “AQuaTSiC,” focusing on building next-generation semiconductor quantum chips. The successful candidate will support and further develop the nanofabrication of electro-photonic devices in SiC, aiming to advance quantum repeater-based quantum internet technologies. This involves developing quantum nanophotonic chips that utilize colour centres for interference experiments to mediate entanglement between distant colour centre spins. The position offers potential follow-up funding until mid-2030 and opportunities for additional project development.

• Demonstrated experience with cleanroom fabrication of nanostructures (minimum 2 years)
• Demonstrated ability to supervise PhD students
• Experience with quantum optics setups, especially cryo-optic experiments (Plus)
