Post Primary Clinical Apprentice (MRI Technologist)

**Job Description**
This role involves performing a variety of specialized tasks in medical imaging exams and procedures under the direct supervision of a certified technologist. It is designed to support individuals who have achieved primary ARRT certification and are actively pursuing post-primary certification.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Demonstrated ability to perform imaging procedures under supervision
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient safety and care
• Completion of Nurse Aide course preferred

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Radiography
• Radiation Therapy
• Nuclear Medicine
Other:
• Certification in Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), or CNMT
• BLS certification required

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Level I: Candidates are required to have completed primary ARRT certification and be currently enrolled in an approved structured education program.
• Level II: Candidates must be actively enrolled in a structured educational program and have completed at least 750 clinical hours or one-half of the required competencies or clinical hours required for certification; whichever is greater.
• Level III: Candidates must be actively enrolled in a structured educational program and have completed at least 2,000 clinical hours or three-quarters of the required competencies or clinical hours for certification, whichever is greater.
