Post-Doctoral Associates

**Job Description**
We are seeking Post-Doctoral Associates with a passion for Data Science, particularly in Computational Social Science, to commence on September 1, 2026. The role will involve research on topics such as social media analysis, collaboration and teamwork, gender inequality, diversity, online controlled experiments, and network science. Selected candidates will dedicate half their time to collaborative research with Assistant Professor Bedoor AlShebli and the other half to independent research, under a three-year appointment.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with at least one of the following: Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, Big Data
• Statistical analysis
• Data management and collection
• Causal inference
• Network analysis
• Graph theory
• Visualizations
• Online tool development
• Experience in conducting online controlled experiments (desired, but not required)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Scientific creativity

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Data Science
• Computational Social Science
• Computer Science
• Information Science

**Experience**
Other:
• PhD in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science
