**Job Description**
The Moeller Lab at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is seeking a postdoctoral associate for a USGS-funded project investigating evolutionary responses to climate change and their consequences for geographic range dynamics in plant species. The project involves large-scale precipitation and temperature manipulation experiments and reciprocal transplants of common tansy and paper birch across Minnesota. The associate will lead data collection, statistical analysis, publication of results, and the development of predictive distribution models incorporating experimental data.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with field work and field experiments with plants
• Experience with statistical modeling and basic statistical concepts
• Excellent English writing and oral communication
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to travel/drive to research sites in Minnesota with intermittent overnight stays at field stations or similar accommodations
• Promising record of research productivity
• Track record of publication in strong journals
• Familiarity with distribution modeling

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ecology
• Evolutionary Biology
• Statistics
• Related field

Salary
