**Job Description**
The Jonesy lab in the Chemistry Department of NYU is seeking a talented post-doctoral associate to conduct interdisciplinary research focused on studying RNA structure, RNA-protein interactions, and dynamics, integrating machine learning and computational chemistry methodologies. This role involves working in Chemical/Structural Biology, requiring a strong foundation in related scientific fields.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Highly motivated with an interest in working in Chemical/Structural Biology
• Strong research experience and publications
• Background knowledge in:
• All atom and coarse grain molecular dynamics simulations for RNA using GROMACS, AMBER, MARTINI, OpenMM, or similar tools
• Machine learning or AI experience (e.g., PyTorch, JAX) for RNA modeling and/or drug discovery
• Coding and scripting (e.g., python, tcl)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Chemical Biology
• Biophysics

**Experience**
Other:
