The Research Training Group (GRK) RTG2670 “Beyond Amphiphilicity: Self-Organization of Soft Matter Via Multiple Noncovalent Interactions” at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg invites applications for Ph.D. positions. Starting November 2025, the program focuses on understanding the emergence of complexity in molecular systems by investigating multiple noncovalent interaction patterns beyond amphiphilicity and their role in shaping soft matter systems. The second funding period specifically targets chemical and physical transition processes, including nanoscale phase transitions, dissolution/solvation, catalysis, crystallization, and molecular aggregation/switching, covering both theoretical physics and chemistry.
