Part-time Research Assistant

**Job Description**
The appointee will assist the project leader in a research project focused on developing an “Eye robot for autonomous clinic: prototype development”. This involves contributing to the development and implementation of deep learning models for analysing multimodal ophthalmic imaging data, integrating generative AI techniques to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making in clinical ophthalmology, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure research outcomes provide valuable clinical support.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with image analysis techniques, particularly in the context of medical imaging or AI applications
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedical Engineering
• Computer Science
• Optometry
• Ophthalmology
• Related disciplines or an equivalent qualification
