**Job Description**
Lecturers are responsible for teaching one or more undergraduate and/or graduate sections during the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters, with classes typically meeting once weekly in the evening. While syllabi are pre-designed, lecturers are encouraged to provide input reflecting their expertise. Appointments do not guarantee renewal or tenure.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Writing or negotiating statutes and/or policy documents for the legislative and/or executive branch
• Publishing policy research/analysis in peer-reviewed journals or relevant media
• Supervising research and writing projects
• Designing museum or other public history projects
• Implementing experiential learning practices and leading experiential learning trips
• Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure (if position requires access to critical infrastructure)
