**Job Description**
The successful candidate will join the CritiX research group at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg. This Ph.D. position, funded for three years and potentially extended to four, is linked to the SASCOS project, a collaboration with Edge Aerospace SARL. The research focuses on exploring safety-aware space computing systems for resilient information processing, addressing challenges such as autonomous adaptation to environmental conditions, maintaining operational systems in extreme situations while meeting performance goals, and coping with changing workload criticalities. The role involves conducting highly innovative research in the cybersecurity of space-based systems, developing solutions for dynamic workload criticalities, publishing research, and guiding M.Sc. students.

• Strong programming skills
• Curiosity-driven and interested in interdisciplinary research
• Eager to continuously learn with critical thinking and explore new ideas while collaborating with a team
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• French, German or Luxembourgish language skills (plus)

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Experience in real-time and embedded systems and the threats and attacks they are exposed to
