**Job Description**
This position provides study coordination for multiple clinical research studies within the Scleroderma Program in the Division of Rheumatology, anticipating 50% of the role. The other 50% involves providing oversight of the scleroderma portfolio, mentoring junior clinical research professionals in study management, and contributing to training and development. The role requires advanced skills and knowledge to support, guide, train, and mentor study team members, applying critical thinking and problem-solving across various clinical studies. The individual will develop new processes, procedures, tools, and training to enhance clinical research activities and is expected to invest in ongoing continuing education and professional development. This position may independently coordinate simple to moderately complex clinical research studies and support a portfolio of projects as part of a coordination team.

• Comfortable with basic clinical lab equipment (centrifuge, various freezers, pipettes).
• Knowledge of standard laboratory safety requirements and guidelines.
• Ability to document data in accordance with ALCOA-C principles.
• Ability to utilize information from EMR and study databases.
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Experience in a large complex health care setting (desirable).
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels (desirable).
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures (desirable).

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Health Science (Associate degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience is necessary)
• Health Sciences (Advanced degree)
• Behavioral Sciences (Advanced degree)
• Public Health (Advanced degree)
• Health Care Administration (Advanced degree)
• Clinical Research Administration (Advanced degree)
• Social Work (Advanced degree)
• Psychology (Advanced degree)
• Epidemiology (Advanced degree)
• Foreign MD (Advanced degree)
Note: Position may be underfilled at the CRC-Assistant title, requiring a High school diploma or GED.

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials
• Minimum 3 years of human subject experience (clinical, lab or health regulations)
