This Clinical Research Fellow position is within the Movement Disorders Division of Georgetown University Medical Center’s Neurology department. The fellowship offers advanced training in clinical and translational research, focusing on understanding and treating movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research projects under expert mentorship, aiming to improve patient care and advance scientific knowledge in the field. **Skills & Abilities**
� Strong interest and background in movement disorders, clinical neurology, or neurodegenerative diseases
� Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research setting
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of scientific publications
� Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical research and ethical guidelines
� Highly detail oriented, organized, able to follow directions
� Able to work respectfully in a team, highly motivated, and committed to providing exceptional service
� Demonstrated moral and ethical responsibility and ability to maintain professionalism
� Excellent communication skills for external (patients, sponsors) and internal (supervisors, team members) interactions
� Proficiency in statistical software and data management platforms
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
� MD
� PhD
� Related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
� Clinical research, including knowledge of study design, data collection methods, and statistical analysis
Other:
� Experience with neuroimaging, neurophysiology, or biomarker research related to movement disorders
� Prior involvement in Parkinson’s disease or dystonia research
