**Job Description**
This fellowship offers advanced clinical and translational research training focused on movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. The Clinical Research Fellow will work under expert mentorship, contributing to innovative research projects aimed at improving patient care and advancing scientific knowledge. The role also supports the University’s mission of *Cura Personalis* by enabling patient participation in clinical trials, with a specific focus on increasing participant diversity.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong interest and background in movement disorders, clinical neurology, or neurodegenerative diseases.
• Experience with clinical research, including knowledge of study design, data collection methods, and statistical analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of scientific publications.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical research and ethical guidelines.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to follow directions and work respectfully in a team.
• Highly motivated and committed to providing exceptional service.
• Ability to demonstrate moral and ethical responsibility and always maintain professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills for external (patients, sponsors, sponsor affiliates) and internal (supervisors, team members, PI, Sub-Is, ancillary department) interactions.
• Proficiency in statistical software and data management platforms (Preferred).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neurology
• Neuroscience
• Related field
MD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Experience with clinical research.
Other:
• Prior involvement in Parkinson’s disease or dystonia research (Preferred).
• Experience with neuroimaging, neurophysiology, or biomarker research related to movement disorders (Preferred).
