Clinical Research Assistant

**Job Description**
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for performing data collection duties, including electronic medical record chart review, tracking patients longitudinally, and identifying key clinical timepoints for biospecimen collection. This role involves identifying and consenting patients for studies, supporting recruitment, assisting in data and specimen collection, and coordinating with laboratory staff. The assistant may also participate in qualitative research, data entry, report preparation, maintaining accurate records, conducting library research, and providing support for programmatic activities. Additionally, the position serves as a liaison within the research team and with external entities, collaborates with various research personnel, assists with analysis, contributes to study planning and design, and summarizes data for grants and manuscripts.
