**Job Description**
The Arno Herpe Bursary, established with a gift from Arno Herpe, is offered to students who are descendants from people indigenous to the South Pacific, including New Zealand and Australia. The scholarship provides an annual allowance of approximately $4,000 for up to the full-time duration of the recipient’s course, paid in two instalments, usually in April and September. The benefit duration will be reduced by any study completed towards the course prior to receiving the scholarship.

• Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived.
• Be enrolled in a course at the University of Melbourne.
• Have met the conditions of any Indigenous Bursaries awarded previously.
• Be a domestic student.
• Be in current study stage.
