The role focuses on studying the structural biology of viruses and viral proteins, utilizing a combination of biochemical techniques, X-ray crystallography, cryoEM, and cryoET. The research aims to elucidate mechanisms underlying virus entry, antibody neutralization, replication, morphogenesis, and pathogenesis.
