**Job Description**
A Research Assistant II position is available at the Center for Advanced Innate Cell Therapy within the Texas Children’s Cancer Center, focusing on novel forms of cancer immunotherapy. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team and involves maintaining mouse colonies, generating tumor models, and testing experimental immunotherapies. The position offers state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and a highly interactive work environment.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Proficient with intravenous injections, capable of completing a minimum of 50 mice per hour.
• Ability to perform downstream analyses (immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry).
• Ability to recognize signs of pain and distress in animals.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Basic Science or a related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Three years of relevant experience
Other:
• Three years of hands-on experience working with mice (preferred)
