**Job Description**
The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an accomplished and motivated individual for a full-time research faculty position. The successful applicant will develop and run an NIH-funded laboratory focused on the study of chronic pain, overlapping pain conditions, and/or fields related to anesthesiology, such as sleep. This individual is expected to achieve national or emerging national recognition for their work, contribute significantly to UNC’s research mission and department growth through collaboration and mentoring, serve on the departmental research committee, and occasionally teach research workshops and courses.
