The Research Laboratory of Prof. Serdal Kirmizialtin in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a talented Post-Doctoral Associate. The successful candidate will focus on the development and application of advanced molecular dynamics techniques to study Atmospheric Water Harvesting, leveraging cutting-edge resources within a collaborative research environment across the NYU global network.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Extensive experience in the application of molecular dynamics simulations to molecular systems
• Experience in Atmospheric Water Harvesting
• Metal organic framework modelling
• Machine learning
• Solid background in physics and chemistry, particularly in statistical mechanics and percolation theory
• Materials modelling for fluid separation from frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent record of research accomplishments
• Experience with modern sampling techniques such as metadynamics
• Good computer programming skills
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Python, and shell scripting
• Experience in Gromacs, MAPS, PLUMED, and Quantum Mechanics software
