**Job Description**
The Wolfe laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop advanced genome editing reagents and approaches for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), Rett Syndrome, and other monogenic disorders. The ultimate goal is to translate these reagents into clinical trials. The successful candidate will be exposed to cutting-edge prime editor engineering, in vivo delivery via AAV or lipid nanoparticles, and deep-sequencing techniques for off-target editing evaluation. This role offers opportunities to participate in scientific meetings and conferences in genome editing and gene therapy.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Eagerness to present research results at national meetings
• Prior experience with genome editing systems (advantageous)
• Prior experience with cell culture (advantageous)
• Prior experience with deep-sequencing technologies (advantageous)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Biochemistry
• Chemistry
• Related biomedical science
**Experience**
