**Job Description**
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), through its Institute of Science, Technology & Innovation (IST&I), invites applications for multiple PostDoc positions. These roles are dedicated to high-level education, research, and innovation in science and engineering. The research and development focus on addressing major challenges within the phosphate industry in Morocco and Africa, including food security, climate change, and resource sustainability. Successful candidates will collaborate with national and international partners to develop innovative technologies for improved fertilizer performance, valorization of byproducts, and the implementation of a circular economy. Specific projects include the design and synthesis of inorganic materials for heavy metal remediation, development of new polymer-based materials and functionalized resins, efficient and cost-effective additive development through sustainable organic synthesis, beneficiation and demetallization of phosphate rock, and hydrometallurgical separation of metals.

• Very good knowledge and excellent experimental skills in preparation and characterization of organic/inorganic materials (e.g., NMR, XRD, GC-MS, FTIR, SEM, TGA, ICP).

**Qualifications**

• Organic chemistry
• Polymer science
• Hydrometallurgy
• Minerals engineering
• Environmental science
• Other related fields

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Proven research experience in the mentioned areas of expertise and related subjects.
