The University of Florida’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Health Educator and Research Coordinator to cultivate community partnerships, provide patient education on social needs, and support research initiatives within North Central Florida. This role involves engaging with pregnant or postpartum patients, connecting them to community resources, ensuring satisfaction, and contributing to data collection, evaluation, dissemination, and grant writing for research projects.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (verbally and in writing)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Previous clinical or community engaged research experience
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• CITI training
• REDCap experience
• Previous experience with health education
• Medical assistant skills (e.g., recording medical history, vital statistics, test results; collecting/preparing laboratory specimens; explaining treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physician instructions)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Appropriate area (Bachelor’s degree)

• 2 years (relevant experience)
