This Presidential Research Fellowship (PRF) Award is for a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders’ Master’s Program at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for the 2026 fiscal year. The assistant will conduct research under the supervision of Dr. Ruth Crutchfield. Key requirements include compliance with all UTRGV Assistantship regulations and full-time registration in a graduate degree program. F1 visa holders are advised that mandatory health insurance fees are not covered by the PRF scholarship.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Admitted to a Master’s degree program in Communication Sciences & Disorders (or a related field as accepted by the program)

Other:
• Good academic standing
• Full-time registration in the respective semester (9 semester credit hours during Fall/Spring, 3 semester credit hours during Summer, or registered for the only remaining requirements of the degree plan)
