**Job Description**
The Research Assistant III will be involved in experimental research within the Brown Cancer Center, focusing on immune cell regulation during tumor progression and metastases. This role requires standard laboratory bench-work practices, including tumor cell culturing and working with animal tumor models. Beyond experimental duties, the individual will contribute to laboratory maintenance and organization.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Basic cellular biology techniques
• Mouse colony maintenance, including genotyping using PCR
• Cell culture
• Single cell preparation
• Flow cytometry
• qRT-PCR
• Western blotting
• Animal handling and manipulation for therapy administration (Preferred)
• Investigating treatment effects in cell culture and tumor growth (Preferred)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 2 years (Associate’s Degree)
Other:
• Prior experience in animal cancer models, including animal handling and manipulation for therapy administration.
• Prior experience in investigating treatment effects in cell culture and tumor growth.
