**Job Description**
The Research Assistant III in the Environmental Health Institute will support and advance the goals of a dynamic and collaborative basic science research laboratory focused on cardiometabolic disease. Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the role involves independently performing complex laboratory experiments, managing research protocols, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications and grant applications. The individual will also be responsible for overseeing day-to-day lab operations, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, and assisting with training of students. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, scientific curiosity, organizational excellence, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced research environment.
