**Job Description**
A postdoctoral position is available in the Bose Lab at the University of Kansas Medical Center, focusing on identifying novel pathways bacteria use to cause disease. The primary research interest involves understanding how the human pathogen *Staphylococcus aureus* responds to and utilizes host fatty acids, employing a multidisciplinary approach including cell-based assays, biochemistry, protein structure and function, and immunology. The role involves designing and executing research projects, analyzing data, preparing scientific presentations, writing manuscripts, and contributing to grant applications.
