The appointees will assist the project leader in a research project titled “Attentional dynamics in professional bilingual performance: A mixed-method investigation of translation and interpreting.” This role involves supporting various research activities, from literature reviews and ethics approval to participant recruitment, data analysis, transcription, and contribution to scientific publications.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Native or near-native speaker of Putonghua or Cantonese
• Highly proficient in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology
• Linguistics
• Cognitive Science
• Speech and Hearing Sciences
For Research Associate:
• Master’s degree in the above fields, OR
• A good honors degree with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
For Research Assistant:
• A good honors degree in the above fields (preferably a Master’s degree), OR
• Equivalent qualifications with some years of research/relevant work experience.

• For Research Associate: 3+ years of research/relevant work experience (if holding a good honors degree)
• For Research Assistant: Some years of research/relevant work experience (if holding equivalent qualifications)
