**Job Description**
Dr. Gerdemann’s research lab at Boston Children’s Hospital is a dynamic and innovative laboratory focusing on the mechanisms of cancer-directed T cell therapeutics, including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) engineered T cells. The research employs diverse in vivo and in vitro models, such as non-human primate models, patient-derived samples, and xenogeneic human-to-mouse cancer models, which have led to the identification of novel immune pathologies in CAR T cell therapy. The selected candidate will join the cellular therapy research team to advance CAR T cell therapeutics, working with non-human primate and human cells, as well as xenogeneic models, to generate data for clinical translation in pediatric oncology. This role also includes serving as lab manager, overseeing lab organization, inventory management, and ordering supplies to ensure efficient daily operations.
