**Job Description**
The Department of Environmental Science is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate I to develop procedures for inducing ripening and spawning of captive Sonoran Sucker broodstock. This role involves establishing protocols for hatching eggs and rearing fry to the fingerling stage, documenting all processes, and presenting findings to project sponsors (Arizona Game and Fish) and the professional aquaculture community.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Operating and maintaining recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS)
• Monitoring and adjusting water quality parameters
• Developing protocols for induced spawning and fish rearing
• Maintaining hatchery systems for rotifers and Artemia
• Scientific documentation and report preparation
• Manuscript contribution and lead authorship
• Ability to swim

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Aquatic Biology
• Fisheries
• Related field (Ph.D.)

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Reproductive biology of fish
Other:
• Maintaining live fish and reproducing them in captivity (Preferred)
