This role is crucial to the scholarly mission of the mentor and host institution, allowing the pursuit of basic, clinical, or translational projects primarily dedicated to the postdoc’s own scholarship and publishing results. Postdoctoral appointees are expected to transition to career independence through professional development, actively guided by a senior scholar, and establish an individual development plan (IDP) that aligns career, training, and mentor’s research goals.

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 0-3 years of prior postdoc experience
Other:
• Familiarity with genetic mouse models, mouse handling, breeding and genotyping
• Tissue culture experience
• Counting and cryopreservation of mammalian cells
• Experience in purifying proteins from tissue expression system
