**Job Description**
The Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices (CRMD) seeks a Research Fellow for the EC Horizon Europe INJECTHEAL project. This pan-European initiative, involving 13 partners, focuses on developing 4D injectable hydrogels for treating deep tunnel wounds. The CRMD team will specifically design and develop peptide-based nanocarriers for controlled and targeted delivery of anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial therapeutics when the hydrogel is injected. The Research Fellow will contribute to this work and have opportunities to attend technical meetings across Europe and disseminate project results at national and international conferences.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Previous experience of working as an effective member of a research team with different expertise and background.
• Competence in biomaterial science.
• Competence in in vitro biocompatibility tests of biomaterials.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomaterials or equivalent
Other:
• Preferably in the field of nanocarriers for the delivery of therapeutics agents
