**Job Description**
This postdoctoral position is for a research associate responsible for literature review, planning and executing laboratory and/or field experiments, and data analysis to support a USCRP-funded project. The project focuses on plant biomechanics and sediment transport mechanisms in coastal areas, particularly investigating pressure fields. The role includes completing manuscripts on ongoing and completed research and potentially assisting in advising a senior project team. The work will be conducted in the Chase Ocean Engineering Laboratory at UNH.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ocean Engineering
• Related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• With programming and analysis in Matlab or similar programming language.
• With hands-on experimental, field, or engineering design work.
• Contributing to a diverse working environment.
• Working on sediment transport problems related to pressure fields.
Other:
• Interest in interdisciplinary ocean research (Preferred)
