**Job Description**
A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Oliveira Lab, focusing on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of light emission in bioluminescent organisms and harnessing novel luminescent proteins and substrates for next-generation imaging and reporter technologies. The successful candidate will primarily work on characterizing and engineering a novel group of calcium-responsive photoproteins from bioluminescent marine invertebrates and developing calcium sensors. Multiple research directions are available based on the candidate’s expertise.
