**Job Description**
The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant for a Temporary Hourly Full-Time position. This role involves working closely with the Supervisor/Principal Investigator to contribute to biological research experiments and perform various technical duties related to conducting standardized tests or experiments.

• Knowledge of basic laboratory methodology
• Knowledge of business English and arithmetic
• Ability to perform basic informational research projects
• Ability to gather and compile data
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public and other employees
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office – especially Excel
**Qualifications**

• science related field
