Research Fellow

**Job Description**
This Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Asst Prof SHEN Yijie at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The role involves contributing to a project focused on Metasurface integrated optical skyrmion generator for high-density topological information transfer, spanning research and education activities in the Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP).

**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge in classical electromagnetic theory/quantum dynamics
• Background in one or more of the following topics: nanophotonics, metamaterials, ultrafast optics
• Proficiency in scientific computation in C/C++ and Matlab/Python or similar languages
• Good communication and writing skills

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Engineering
• Physics
• Related field

Other:
• Track record of research experience in terms of publications
