**Job Description**
The Media Ecosystem Observatory at McGill University is seeking a part-time junior analyst with expertise in collecting and analyzing qualitative data on the Canadian information ecosystem. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing research agenda by assisting with data collection and review, joining the Observatory during a period of growth and expansion.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience collecting, labeling, and analyzing data to answer social scientific research questions.
• Communication skills to coordinate with team members to build a consistent dataset.
• Basic familiarity with the Canadian media ecosystem.
• Experience working with social media data, including designing, collecting, managing, sharing, and analyzing data in an efficient manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French (optional).
