**Job Description**
This position is for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, within the lab of Dr. Surinder Batra and Dr. Afshin Salehi. The lab focuses on brain cancer therapeutics, developing and validating preclinical models for neuro-oncological diseases. Key research areas include engineering nanoparticles for targeted laser therapeutics, exploring new drug discovery for pediatric high-grade gliomas using connectivity mapping, and developing new syngeneic mouse models. The role involves devising novel treatments for pediatric high-grade gliomas through new drug trials, the study of the tumor immune microenvironment, and laser therapies.
