The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing is seeking PhD graduates with a research focus in the self-management or prevention of chronic illness for a two-year in-person postdoctoral fellowship. This position aims to prepare nurse scientists for successful research careers, providing mentorship from senior nursing faculty in grant writing, funding acquisition, and interdisciplinary research, specifically for research-intensive faculty positions at UNMC. Associates will engage with the research infrastructure provided by the College of Nursing and the Center for Chronic Illness Self-management and Prevention (CRISP), focusing on issues of chronic illness prevention and self-management across the lifespan.
