**Job Description**
This position in the Jonesy lab at NYU’s Chemistry Department seeks a talented post-doctoral associate for interdisciplinary research. The role focuses on studying RNA structure, RNA-protein interactions, and dynamics, specifically applying machine learning and computational chemistry methodologies.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Highly motivated with an interest in working in Chemical/Structural Biology
• Strong research experience and publications
• Background knowledge in all-atom and coarse-grain molecular dynamics simulations for RNA using GROMACS, AMBER, MARTINI, OpenMM, or similar tools
• Experience with machine learning or AI (e.g., PyTorch, JAX) for RNA modeling and/or drug discovery
• Experience in coding and scripting (e.g., python, tcl)

Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Chemical Biology
• Biophysics
• Related field
