**Job Description**
This position is for a Research Associate/Fellow within the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) to contribute to the NIHR-funded Lived Experience Narratives in Dementia (LEND) programme. The role involves working across the first three Work Packages, utilizing mixed-methods research including qualitative interviews, surveys, focus groups, and a feasibility trial. A key focus is on engaging underserved and minoritised communities while upholding the autonomy, dignity, and human rights of people with dementia. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team, contributing to research planning, participant engagement, advisory panel meetings, dissemination, publications, and future research bids.

Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology
• Mental Health
• Social Sciences
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Experience in qualitative and/or mixed methods research.
• A demonstrable commitment to co-production and ethical research practices.
• An understanding of the lived experience of dementia and the importance of human rights.
Other:
• Experience of working with diverse communities (advantage).
• Conducting research related to mental health, bereavement or dementia (advantage).
