Research Assistant – Casual

**Job Description**
Under direction, this position provides research, data analysis, and operational support to principal investigators and research coordinators for clinical research studies. Responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment and enrollment, ensuring proper consent protocols, assisting with departmental mailings, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in the creation and management of study databases. The role also involves qualitative coding, thematic analysis, potential statistical analysis, and assisting with IRB/IACUC submissions and grant documentation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Statistical and database management experience, including proficiency in SPSS and/or RedCap.
• Previous clinical research experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Approximately one year of related experience.
Other:
• High School Diploma (Required)
