The laboratory of Associate Professor Scott Canfield at Indiana University School of Medicine – Terre Haute, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join a pioneering research project within the framework of a recently NIH-funded Micro physiological Systems to Advance Precision Medicine for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (MAP-AD). This innovative and multidisciplinary project aims to develop brain organoids derived from human iPSCs to study vascular dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Interest in iPSC and blood-brain barrier research.
• Solid background in cell culture and tissue engineering approaches.
• Knowledge in Neuroscience and Stem Cell Research.
• Collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary research environment.
• Proven scientific writing and publishing experience.
• Strong commitment to building a career in brain barriers biology.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
