**Job Description**
The Departments of Dermatology and Rheumatology seek a highly motivated Research Fellow to conduct innovative research using multi-omics approaches to understand skin and rheumatic diseases. The laboratories specifically focus on investigating the effects of age, genetics, biological sex, and ancestry on the immune system and treatment responses in patients with autoimmune disease. This research involves novel bioinformatics approaches, cross-species analytics, lncRNA expression analysis in skin, identification of systemic sclerosis-specific RNA species, and the use of cytokine and cell-specific expression signatures. The role uniquely integrates both wet lab and dry lab applications, aiming to improve the understanding and care for individuals living with these diseases. The successful candidate will analyze -omic data from ongoing clinical trials and larger datasets from systemic sclerosis and other fibrotic diseases, complementing this with wet lab experiments to validate findings.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Cellular and Molecular Biology (PhD or equivalent degree)

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 2-4 years (post-PhD in cellular and molecular biology)
