**Job Description**
This role is part of the INHABIT Hub, which aims to address the challenges of achieving the UK’s legally binding 2050 net zero target by focusing on retrofitting 29 million homes. The Hub seeks to become a global center of excellence for generating evidence and policy solutions to support a health-centred net zero housing transition. The objective is to develop a systems-level understanding of how retrofitting interacts with health, behaviours, and regulatory frameworks, and to co-produce retrofit projects that address health and inequality. The person appointed will lead specific research tasks within this framework.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience of using qualitative methods in research, including recruiting, conducting and analysing depth interviews and focus groups.
• Experience of stakeholder engagement.
• Experience of system mapping and system thinking more generally in a research context (bonus).
• Excellent communication skills, including writing in an accessible way for various non-specialist audiences.
• Experience of disseminating research findings verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Relevant social science discipline (Ph.D. or near completion)
