**Job Description**
The STARLAB at Central Michigan University is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on an NSF-funded project aiming to investigate the U burial pathways in the oceans. The initial appointment is for one year, with extension contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with synchrotron-based absorption spectroscopy
• Experience with trace metal analysis

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Geochemistry
• Earth Sciences
• Environmental Sciences

**Experience**
Other:
• Ph.D. in Geochemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related fields received within the last six years
• ABD candidates will be considered, provided the degree is conferred by the start date of the appointment
